Brooklyn NY-based Exit three Movies has revealed its first animated logo, which contains a classic freeway signal mysteriously revealed by the headlights of a slowly passing automotive. The emblem was created by Rob Barth of Barth and Co design of South Orange NJ in collaboration with animator/illustrator Dave Joly at Picturedance in Putnam CT.

Exit three documentary filmmaker Phil Englander’s love of traditional Hollywood and Movie Noir served as inspiration for the idea. To get the look good, Barth says “We spent a night screening B motion pictures on-line, grabbing samples of headlight sprays and nighttime California freeway signage.” The of entirety, says Rob Barth, was discovering simply the suitable engine sounds and gravelly-road results to match the interval.
